Ready for Take Off: Aircraft Decals at White Waltham
We supply a lot of graphics for vehicles, including branding for vans, cars and agricultural equipment, safety graphics for construction equipment and so on. In addition, we get a fair amount of work supplying aircraft decals.
A recent aircraft project found us visiting White Waltham Airfield, home to the West London Aero Club (WLAC). Probably the largest grass airfield in the UK, White Waltham is set in 200 acres of glorious Berkshire countryside. The plane itself was a YAK-29, used for aerobatic displays. Our job was to fit UK registrations to fuselage and underwing ready for this year’s flying season.
The use of registration decals are covered by CAA (UK) regulations, which you can read about on our aircraft decals page.
Resplendent in blue and yellow, the plane is a beauty, and there’s always something nice about thinking that our handiwork is going to be on display overhead.
If you’re interested in durable, high-quality graphics for your aircraft (or tractor, van, car, lorry and so on), please get in touch with the Mirage Team.
